The Spiritual Explanations

Of

The Songs Of Solomon

The Wine And Dine Of Life

Introduction

In the past, tyrants persecuted those who know the truth. They used persecution because they were afraid of loosing their positions of honour, public respect and teeming followers to those who seem or claimed to know more than the tyrants. Moses suffered the same in Egypt. Daniel encountered the same in Babylon. Jesus met the same faith in the hands of the Israelites leaders, who supposed to welcome Him and introduce Him to the masses.

Again, rampaging generals burnt so many important, juicy and powerful books of spiritual science. At a stage, it seemed there was no hope of preserving the truth, by shielding it from the destructive tendencies of world leaders who were not spiritually awake, enlightened and experienced. Therefore, the great prophets and mystics of ancient times turned to proverbs, parables, riddles, poems and poetry, in order to safe keep spiritual knowledge and wisdom.

Examples abound in the Bible. Prophet Samuel pretended that he went for sacrifice in order to cover up the anointing of David. Prophet Nathan had to first tell King David a proverb, before he could tell David what wrong David did by killing Uriah and taking his wife. If anointed men were feared of the possible harm they might inflict on those who correct them, then imagine how much more people feared the tyrants in the past, because of the tyrant’s arrogance and mercilessness.

Because of persecutions, the custodians of spiritual knowledge and wisdom, resorted to putting their teachings into proverbs, parables, riddles, etc. Such writings could only be written by Spiritual Masters of the past, and as well can be rightly and fully interpreted only by those who are Spiritual Masters of the current age.

You are here to re-read the Songs of Solomon along with the spiritual explanations.

Thanks be to God, for His wisdom at the various times of our needs, which wisdom helped the Saints to preserve both teachings and records of Truth.

SS

1:5-6

5 I am dark, but lovely,

O daughters of Jerusalem,

Like the tents of Kedar,

Like the curtains of Solomon.

6 Do not look upon me, because I am dark,

Because the sun has tanned me.

My mother's sons were angry with me;

They made me the keeper of the vineyards,

But my own vineyard I have not kept.

I appear in a body, but I am a spirit,

O The religions of the world

Because I am in a physical dimension

Where solidity appears to be real.

Do not think that I am an ordinary body,

Because earthly conditions make it so.

My fellow spirit beings wanted me to have experience

And gave me responsibilities on earth,

And many have forgotten their spirit nature.

SS

1:6-7

(TO HER BELOVED)

7 Tell me, O you whom I love,

Where you feed your flock,

Where you make it rest at noon.

For why should I be as one who veils herself

By the flocks of your companions?

TO GOD ALMIGHTY

Oh God, who is Love, Loving and Beloved,

My desire is to minister to the sons of God,

Guiding them to the pastures and treasures of life.

Whoever that attains perfection,

cannot seat and watch while the ignorant perish.

SS

1:7-10

THE BELOVED

8 If you do not know,

O fairest among women,

Follow in the footsteps of the flock,

And feed your little goats

Beside the shepherds' tents.

9 I have compared you, my love,

To my filly among Pharaoh's chariots.

10 Your cheeks are lovely with ornaments,

Your neck with chains of gold.

OH GOD

To find them,

Oh true saint,

Follow the footsteps of the Holy Spirit,

And feed them … as your children

By quiet times and meditation.

You are my beloved so

With whom I am well pleased.

I have bestowed favours

 and crowns of you.

SS

1:10-11

THE DAUGHTERS OF JERUSALEM

the robe of righteousness and the mantle of praise.

SS

THE SHULAMITE

12 While the king is at his table,

My spikenard sends forth its fragrance.

13 A bundle of myrrh is my beloved to me,

14 My beloved is to me a cluster of henna blooms

In the vineyards of En Gedi.

THE MYSTIC

When God is on His throne,

The Son is full of the God’s glory

And the omnipresent holy spirit is present.

Also our bed is green.

17 The beams of our houses are cedar,

And our rafters of fir.

Oh Lord, You are the glory of the universe!

The perfect one.

The life you gave is full of righteousness.

The angels are glorious and powerful,

And the lily of the valleys.

A saints arrives home in heaven

Oh God, I am like yourself.

Yes, I am one of the Gods.

SS

2:1-2

So is my love among the daughters.

GOD

You are the apple of my eyes.

Such a devotee is dear to me.

SS

2:2-3

THE SHULAMITE

3 Like an apple tree among the trees of the woods,

So is my beloved among the sons.

I sat down in his shade with great delight,

The glorious and … one.

2:3-7

THE SHULAMITE TO THE DAUGHTERS OF JERUSALEM

4 He brought me to the banqueting house,

And his banner over me was love.

5 Sustain me with cakes of raisins,

Refresh me with apples,

For I am lovesick.

6 His left hand is under my head,

And his right hand embraces me.

7 I charge you, O daughters of Jerusalem,

By the gazelles or by the does of the field,

Do not stir up nor awaken love

Until it pleases.

FROM THE MYSTIC,

TO THE CHURCHES

only truth can lead to salvation

and the sure road is loving-kindness.

Sustain me, Lord,

with the gifts of the holy spirit,

for my heart thirsts for the living God.

His faithfulness endures forever,

And His favours abound for eternity.

I challenge you, oh religions and churches,

By the spiritual encounters of the Angels

And by the heavenly visits and experiences,

You hinder spiritual progress of humanity,

And mislead the masses by teaching falsehood.

The Beloved's Request

SS

2:8-14

THE SHULAMITE

8 The voice of my beloved!

Behold, he comes

Leaping upon the mountains,

Skipping upon the hills.

9 My beloved is like a gazelle or a young stag.

Behold, he stands behind our wall;

He is looking through the windows,

Gazing through the lattice.

10 My beloved spoke, and said to me:

"Rise up, my love, my fair one,

And come away.

11 For lo, the winter is past,

The rain is over and gone.

12 The flowers appear on the earth;

The time of singing has come,

And the voice of the turtledove

Is heard in our land.

13 The fig tree puts forth her green figs,

And the vines with the tender grapes

Give a good smell.

Rise up, my love, my fair one,

And come away!

14 "O my dove, in the clefts of the rock,

In the secret places of the cliff,

Let me see your face,

Let me hear your voice;

For your voice is sweet,

And your face is lovely."

THE MYSTIC

I hear the voice of silence.

Behold, the Mighty God.

He crosses the heights as they were flat surfaces,

And passes over the surfaces as they were single lines.

He is full of radiance

and vibrancy.

He is manifest but hidden.

He sees all things,

even those in secret places.

My God said to me,

“I have placed the ancient staff in your hands.”

Remain steadfast in truthfulness

For you are a king, not only here on this earth,

but also in the heavens.

The end time is coming soon,

And those who inherit the kingdom shall sing praises.

The voice of Angels and Siants

Shall ascend to the throne of the Almighty,

Amidst joyfulness and gladness of hearts,

In holiness and righteousness.

For everlasting treasures and pleasures.

Spread the gospel of truth.

Arise and shine, my faithful one,

And do not lust after the things of worldly illusions

“Oh my beloved One, in the heavenly mansions

In the realms of brightness,

You shall behold my face,

Hear my voice,

For you have overcome

And favours have been bestowed on you.”

SS

2:14-15

HER BROTHERS

15 Catch us the foxes,

The little foxes that spoil the vines,

For our vines have tender grapes.

THE HEAVENLY ANGELS AND SAINTS SAY,

Search for the truth, until you find it.

By pass religions, tribes and languages,

And search in quiet times, in silence and in mediation.

SS

2:15-16

THE SHULAMITE

16 My beloved is mine, and I am his.

He feeds his flock among the lilies.

THE MYSTIC

The Father and I are one.

The heavens are full of His Angels and Saints.

SS

2:16-17

(TO HER BELOVED)

17 Until the day breaks

And the shadows flee away,

Turn, my beloved,

And be like a gazelle

Or a young stag

Upon the mountains of Bether.

TO THE LORD MOST HIGH

Reveal thyself more and more,

And banish the veil of spiritual blindness.

Manifest, Oh Lord,

And let us hehold your majesty,

And your splendor

In the realms of righteousness.

Chapter 3

A Troubled Night

A Time Of Darkness

SS

3:1-5

THE SHULAMITE

By night on my bed I sought the one I love;

I sought him, but I did not find him.

2 "I will rise now," I said,

"And go about the city;

In the streets and in the squares

I will seek the one I love."

I sought him, but I did not find him.

3 The watchmen who go about the city found me;

I said,

"Have you seen the one I love?"

4 Scarcely had I passed by them,

When I found the one I love.

I held him and would not let him go,

Until I had brought him to the house of my mother,

And into the chamber of her who conceived me.

5 I charge you, O daughters of Jerusalem,

By the gazelles or by the does of the field,

Do not stir up nor awaken love

Until it pleases.

THE MYSTIC

In silence and solitude, I sought for the Lord;

I ought Him in the churches, and did not find Him.

“I will continue to search for the truth,” I said,

Until I find it;

On the mountains, and in the valleys,

I shall seek for the living waters.”

By cultures and religions, I did not find Him.

Until the Angels came to my aid,

and said, “Follow us into His glorious presence.”

And I said,

“Where is does the Lord dwell?”

The moment I turned to rest and quietness,

I found the Lord is present in my heart.

Thenceforth, I became one with Him.

And my desire now is to bring every sheep of His

Into His holy presence,

Where there is everlasting life and joy.

I charge you, oh churches and religions,

Behave like the silent Angels.

Do not disturb somebody I n meditation.

Until he comes back from his spiritual journey.

The Coming of Solomon

SS

3:6-11

THE SHULAMITE

6 Who is this coming out of the wilderness

Like pillars of smoke,

Perfumed with myrrh and frankincense,

With all the merchant's fragrant powders?

7 Behold, it is Solomon's couch,

With sixty valiant men around it,

Of the valiant of Israel.

8 They all hold swords,

Being expert in war.

Every man has his sword on his thigh

Because of fear in the night.

9 Of the wood of Lebanon

Solomon the King

Made himself a palanquin:

10 He made its pillars of silver,

Its support of gold,

Its seat of purple,

Its interior paved with love

By the daughters of Jerusalem.

11 Go forth, O daughters of Zion,

And see King Solomon with the crown

With which his mother crowned him

On the day of his wedding,

The day of the gladness of his heart.

THE MYSTIC

I beheld the manifest but hidden truth.

He stands manifest as consuming fire.

Full of radiance and brightness.

Radiating majesty and beauty.

Behold the Glory of the Universe.

Radiating uncountable rays of life,

Which are spiritual rays of victory,

Each as a ray, speaking the word of God,

Unfailing in their pronouncements.

Every saint is filled with their words of life,

and stands firm against falsehood.

In the clouds,

The Almighty sits as Lord and King

Where He has set up His throne.

The clouds are shining with brightness

And filled with the holy Spirit.

The Lord sits on high.

He is Love, Loving and Beloved.

Oh CHURCHES AND RELIGIONS,

GO AND SEEK FOR THE TRUTH,

SO THAT YOU CAN FIND AND KNOW God.

Give Him due honour and glory and praises.

On the day He takes us into His kingdom

The day of joyful salvation.

4:1-5

THE BELOVED

1 Behold, you are fair, my love!

Behold, you are fair!

You have dove's eyes behind your veil.

Your hair is like a flock of goats,

Going down from Mount Gilead.

2 Your teeth are like a flock of shorn sheep

Which have come up from the washing,

Every one of which bears twins,

And none is barren among them.

3 Your lips are like a strand of scarlet,

And your mouth is lovely.

Your temples behind your veil

Are like a piece of pomegranate.

4 Your neck is like the tower of David,

Built for an armory,

On which hang a thousand bucklers,

All shields of mighty men.

5 Your two breasts are like two fawns,

Twins of a gazelle,

Which feed among the lilies.

GOD

You are my beloved son,

With whom I am well pleased.

You are transparent with honesty.

Endowed with glory.

Your spiritual powers are sure,

Like the unfailing …

You are endowed with success and prosperity.

All my fountains are in you.

You mouth speak the Truth,

And your words are pure.

You have set your heart and mind

After righteousness and holiness.

The lord is sure confidence,

And from Him comes your victory,

Your presence sets the enemies fleeing,

...

Your heart and mind

Are filled with love and holiness,

Which are incorruptible and everlasting.
